Lead
Leads are potential customers with whom we have already had some interaction, such as a contact, and who are expected to become our customers or clients soon. In the sales process, we can talk about cold leads or hot leads, which is first and foremost a sign of engagement. In the case of hot leads, it is very likely that we have already gathered enough information and taken the right communication steps to make it very likely that a conversion will happen soon. For cold leads, we still need to work on helping the prospect to make a decision.
